What stays on your site
Free works locally with no product telemetry. Rules, settings and auxiliary history remain in WordPress. The optional 404 counter excludes visitor identifiers, but URL paths may still contain personal data. Review your own retention and privacy obligations.
When Pro connects
Authorized HTTP checks contact the requested public destinations. License and update checks contact redirectnest.com with the site address, private key and environment. Optional fleet sharing sends versions, rule counts, check totals and timestamps—not visitor data or rule URLs.
Erase auxiliary observations
Use RedirectNest → Privacy to erase auxiliary data while preserving active rules. Fleet sharing is opt-in; disabling it requests erasure when the service is reachable. The private purchase page can also erase the stored fleet summary. Uninstall intentionally retains local rules and settings.
